About Us

Based in Newport Poochee Care is a council licensed, approved day care and home boarding establishment. Poochee Care was established in 2018. Prior to this, we were always dog owners, ourselves, and experienced that feeling of worry when you have to leave your dog with someone, other than family or friends.

Our dog, Molly, was a golden labrador, and we knew that we wouldn’t have a problem with finding her a pet sitter as everyone who met her loved her, however it seemed so difficult to put your trust in someone who is a complete stranger.

We have experienced, first hand, how difficult it is to find a trustworthy and caring person to look after your pets. We wanted to create a dog boarding experience that allows owners to enjoy their holiday and not worry about their pets. We wanted to create an environment where we would be happy leaving our own pets. We provide a professional bespoke service, offering solo care by only ever looking after one family dog(s). We have no residential dogs so able to have dogs that require care who are not dog friendly.

We also offer solo dog walking services, where we strictly follow our customers walking instructions, and their dogs safety is our number one priority

Dog Walking

We offer a personalised service to suit our customer’s needs. We spend time getting to know dogs and follow our customers walking instructions, with their safety our number one priority. Dog walks can be one off, interim or permanent services and often lead to clients using us for future daycare and home boarding services.

Dog Homeboarding

Our bespoke home boarding service means that pets who stay with us have a complete home from home experience. We take time to get to know our clients and their pets to ensure that we provide them with the best service and experience that we can. We have no resident dog and only accept one family’s dog/dogs at any one time so we can give the dogs 100% attention at all times.

Doggy Day Care

Our flexible doggy day care service allows dogs to remain happy and fulfilled in our caring family homes while owners are busy. In addition, we also offer home visits to feed and check-in on dogs, puppies and other pets.
