Disadvantages: There are not many disadvantages to this product at all, the disadvantage in my opinion is the limited fragrances it comes in, whilst the coat conditioning is a lovely fresh smell, sometimes it is nice to have a selection of fragrances to choose from.
Review: To start with I was a bit wary of trying this cheaper shampoo brand, due to how sensitive my hands are I have always had trouble when buying cheaper brands, it results in dry cracked sore hands, so have always stuck to Wildwash and Peanut & Pickle Shampoos due to this having no effect on my hands. My other concern is, if a shampoo is doing that to my hands what is it doing to the dogs skin over time?
I came across GHS Direct after they applied to be listed on the Pet Directory Services. After thinking it over for a while and having a good read about the shampoo and the reviews they had already received, I decided due to the price of everything increasing I needed to look around for a more cost effective shampoo which I could use alongside the shampoos I already stock.
The shampoo mixes well when diluted and lathers up on the dogs coat lovely. It leaves the dogs coat soft to touch and once the coat is dry leaves the coat looking very clean and shiny. Customers have also commented on how soft their dogs fur feels when collecting them after using this shampoo.
I have been using this shampoo now every day for all dogs that have come into the salon over the last month, and can honestly say I have had no adverse reactions on my hands to it at all, so 100% confident if I haven't any any now I wont be having any at all, my hands will normally reacted within a couple of days of using products. I will definitely be re-ordering this shampoo and it will be using has one of the main shampoos to wash dogs in my salon. I'm that happy with the shampoo I will be recommending it to my customers that bath dogs between appointments and will be looking at stocking in the salon resale purposes.
